Today, traveling across the globe is more accessible than ever before, which is why more and more people are choosing to quit their 9 to 5 jobs and travel from place to place, seeing the world. While travelling the world is an incredibly exciting concept, something that a lot of people worry about is the financial impact, in addition to the effect travelling will have on their career and their earning capabilities afterwards.

However, what you should know is that taking a trip around the world doesn’t have to bankrupt you, not if you are smart about how you go about it. If you choose to work as you travel, you can ensure that your finances remain healthy. Like the idea of working and travelling at the same time, which would not only mean there is no gaping hole in your resume but also that you can earn while to see the world? Then it’s important to consider how you can earn as you travel – what are your options?

Below is a guide to some of the careers that will allow you to earn and travel at the same time.

    Journalism

One career that has always been ideal for anyone who wants to travel is journalism. Writers can write from anywhere, which is why travelling and journalism go hand in hand. The internet has made submitting content easier than ever before, meaning that as long as journalists have an internet connection, they can work wherever they are, and get paid for their work too. If you are a skilled writer and have a passion for a certain topic, you could opt to write as you travel and earn an income by doing so.

    Medicine and healthcare

Another option for earning while you travel is working in medicine and healthcare. If you are a qualified doctor or nurse, then you could choose to earn while you travel by taking steps to learn how you can become a travelling medical professional. For instance, you could enhance your knowledge and education while travelling using resources from 360 Healthcare Staffing, for instance. Wherever you go in the world, you will find that medical professionals are needed, so if you have a background in medicine, you’re sure to do well working abroad.

    Photography

Another avenue that travellers can go down is the photography route. For anyone with a passion for capturing images, it’s possible to work as you travel, selling any images that you capture to travel publications and websites. Most people choose to work in a freelance capacity, but that isn’t the only option – it depends on the job opportunities that you come across. You never know, you might be able to find a company that is willing to pay you a salary to travel and capture bespoke images for them – they might even cover the cost of your travel.

    Virtual assistant

Today, an increasing number of people are opting to use virtual assistants rather than personal assistants. So if you want to earn as you travel, this could be a route that it’s worth going down. Virtual assistants can get paid well, depending on the services that they offer and how reliable they are. If you are good with admin and have a professional telephone manner, working as a virtual assistant could be ideal for you.

The truth is that there are plenty of ways that you can work and travel at the same time, it’s just a case of taking the time to find the ideal route for you.

The idea of starting a blog has been hitting me for long; I took it seriously after falling into a spiral of debt and recovering from it. I have been anxious all through the financial difficulties. I see that same anxiety in the eyes of people, whose ill fate has put them at odd with financial repose.

It makes me compassionate. Out of this compassion and goodwill, I started this blog. I wanted to help all those, who are facing financial distress.
